This beautiful teapot is perfect for your morning brew! Hand thrown in sections and joined together to make a one off piece for your home! Made with my blend of stoneware clays and available in 2 sizes and 3 different glaze combos. They make a great set alongside my dinky cups. The small teapot fits 2 cups and the large teapot fits 4 cups. All products are available gift wrapped in recycled kraft paper with a satin ribbon and rustic brown string with a hand made porcelain 'With Love' heart shaped tag. All work is hand-thrown in my Wiltshire Studio; I use a blend of stoneware clays to find that perfect speckle that runs through all my work. Each piece starts from a ball of clay that is shaped and formed into the desired shape, using just my hands and a few wooden tools. They are then left to dry slowly over night and the next day I trim the bases and add handles to mugs. They are then left to fully dry and about a week later they go into there first bisq firing up to 1000 degrees. After about 48 hours when the pieces are cool enough to unload from the kiln I sand any rough parts and glaze them in my unique coastal inspired glazes. They then go back into the kiln to 1260 degrees and 48 hours later the kiln is unloaded and the new products are ready to be wrapped up to be sent to their new homes!
