A hand crafted terracotta Kew Royal Botanic Long Tom Pot which has been glazed and bears the seal of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Originally intended for the growing of tomatoes and occasionally referred to as a 'waisted' pot. These pots are ideal for flowers and plants which need a long root run. Pretty and practical enough for any use; from a fruit bearing plant to a decorative flower. Finished in a gorgeous heritage colour with a crackle glaze and a contrasting terracotta lip and base. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use although we would also advise bringing indoors during frosty periods. NB: A drainage hole is not present in this particular item. It is possible to drill one, although this is at the customer's own risk. Available in Ivory, Duck Egg Blue or Chartwell Green. Terracotta
