Country style is one of my favourites. I always think that fashions come and go, but a good country theme can really last the distance. With careful planning, this style can look minimalist, smart and sophisticated, yet still relaxed and sensitive to its location. This look features slightly crisper lines in its furnishings, elegant more minimal furniture shapes and natural materials, but with the addition of stone, metals and glass. Just make sure to keep it clutter free! For a modern twist on this style, I love to include accents of animal hide and leather. It creates a depth of texture and interest to what could be considered a slightly underwhelming scheme. Combine this with distressed and natural accessories to set the tone and bring in elements of nature through it's use of wood and metal. This style is cosy and calming, whilst also making a statement in your living space.
